I've been beading and wire working now for about 2 years.  I've done a number of courses at 'Shiney Company' in Bath and Bristol and really enjoy working with wire especially.

At the start of a new year I am trying out a new type of jewellery making.... PMC (Precious Metal Clay)!  This is basically a precious metal (Silver in the case of the stuff I'm trying) which has been ground down into a fine powder and then mixed with a binding agent which makes it look and act like clay!  The clay can be sculpted and moulded in any way required and when fired, the binding agent burns away leaving the precious metal piece! The silver clay results in 99% pure silver which is purer than Sterling Silver!

I've sent away for a starter kit with an instructional DVD and am now eagerly awaiting its arrival so I can start playing!
